Mapuana Makia

Mapuana Makia is an actor, singer, producer, director originally from Maui, Hawaii. It was there that she cultivated her love for performing and storytelling. She received her BFA from Hawaii Pacific University, gaining scholarships through the Miss Hawaii Scholarship Program. She has performed with Circle X Theater, Urban Theater Movement, East West Players, and the Alto Nido Collective. She most recently appeared in Hawaii 5-0, and can be seen in the motion picture ALOHA. Some of her TV credits include CASTLE and HIT THE FLOOR. She also received a digital emmy for her work on EMMA APPROVED. She is currently shadow directing for the ABC Talent Showcase.
